The history is listed in reverse chronological order, with the most recent version at the top. If you discover any further bugs or have suggestions for changes or new features, please report them to the following address: bugs@dartcom.co.uk VERSION 5.4e Various minor changes and bug fixes. VERSION 5.4d Various minor changes and bug fixes. VERSION 5.3d Various minor changes and bug fixes. VERSION 5.2h Various minor changes and bug fixes. VERSIOn 5.1f The format of iDAP/MacroPro files (.did/.dmd/.dfd) has changed slightly and the version number has therefore been increased to 24. Please ensure all other Dartcom software is updated to use the same file format version. The supported version is shown in the About window (Help > About). Various other minor changes and bug fixes. VERSION 5.0b The format of iDAP/MacroPro files (.did/.dmd/.dfd) has changed slightly and the version number has therefore been increased to 23. Please ensure all other Dartcom software is updated to use the same file format version. The supported version is shown in the About window (Help > About). The Windows SDK has been updated to version 8.1 which supports Windows 7, 8 and 10. Earlier Windows versions (including XP and Vista) are no longer supported. The Dartcom USB drivers have been updated to fully support Windows 10. Apple QuickTime has been replaced with a proprietary animation system and associated file format developed specially by Dartcom. Existing QuickTime animations will be imported automatically when opened in iDAP, or when new frames are added by MacroPro. The obsolete QuickTime movie files will be imported automatically when animations are updated and deleted afterwards. Third-party libraries have been updated to their latest available versions. Various other minor changes and bug fixes. VERSION 4.0e The GVAR calibration system has been redesigned, however extensive testing has shown negligible differences in read-outs between the old and new systems. Calibrated read-outs on GVAR images reprojected using iDAP/MacroPro will now be correct. Problems with overlay misalignment on very large images have been fixed. To correct the overlays on existing images, open them in iDAP, go to Navigation > Overlay Settings... and click OK. This causes the overlays to be redrawn with correct alignment. Various other minor changes and bug fixes. VERSION 3.6d Various minor changes and bug fixes. The .exe file is now digitally signed with Dartcom's code signing certificate. VERSION 3.6b The data quality graph in the Status tab has been redesigned and now shows the average data quality for each hour over the previous 24 hours, excluding the current hour. It also now shows small changes in data quality much more clearly. The live data quality read-out and associated bar on the data quality graph has been removed due to it being misleading. Instead the data quality is now averaged over an hour, and the averages for the previous 24 hours are shown on the data quality graph. Various other minor changes and bug fixes. VERSION 3.5h The Dartcom USB interface drivers and associated ingest subsystems have been completely redeveloped and are now compatible with 64-bit versions of Windows (as well as 32-bit). The ingest device can now be selected in the advanced system configuration window. A crashing problem with very noisy data has been identified and fixed. Various other minor changes and bug fixes. VERSION 3.4h Support has been added for the Quorum LRD-200B receiver. Various other minor changes and bug fixes. VERSION 3.4g The default overlays path was incorrect. The correct default path is now set the first time the software is run after installation. Various other minor changes and bug fixes. VERSION 3.4b Single plane iDAP images now have the full 256 greyscales. Previously they were quantized to 128 greyscales because the other 128 colours in the palette were reserved for the Processing > Formula palette function in iDAP. However this has been rewritten to remove that requirement. Various other minor changes and bug fixes. VERSION 3.3e A number of additional downconverter types are now supported. Support has been added for GOES-15 images. Various minor changes and bug fixes. Recompiled using Microsoft Visual Studio 2010. VERSION 3.2k Map overlays with dotted or dashed lines are now drawn correctly. Windows XP users should check they have installed Service Pack 3 (SP3) as resource leaks in SP2 can cause problems when running software for long periods of time. Other minor changes and bug fixes. VERSION 3.2f: Minor changes and bug fixes. VERSION 3.2d: Macros can now be enabled and disabled individually, collectively or selectively using a textual filter. Major and minor grid lines are now supported in the overlay settings window, plus different line styles and widths. The user interface now includes full support for Windows Themes. True single plane images can now be created allowing very large areas to be specified. Previously if a single plane was specified a multi-plane image would still be produced. Images without a visible channel would not navigate correctly - this has been fixed. VERSION 2.6d: Added support for receivers other than the Dartcom/GTI model. Added a receiver status window to the Status tab. Added an option to use the PC time for archived level 0 files instead of the time contained in the headers. This is a workaround for problems where the signal is noisy and therefore the time in the headers is unreliable. Crashing problems when creating extremely large images have been fixed. Various other minor changes and bug fixes. VERSION 2.5g: Microsoft Visual C++ libraries updated to latest versions. A problem which could cause the software to become very unresponsive under noisy signal conditions has been fixed. VERSION 2.5f: Minor changes and bug fixes. VERSION 2.5e: Crashing problems with corrupt image files or under full disk conditions have been fixed. VERSION 2.5d: The graphics library has been replaced to improve general performance, reliability and stability. Latitude/longitude read-outs are now available in the sub-sample settings window. VERSION 2.4d: The grid lines overlay was always produced for iDAP image macros even if it was switched off. This has been fixed. VERSION 2.4c: Minor changes and bug fixes. VERSION 2.3a: Rebuilt with revised compiler optimization settings to resolve potential problems experienced in other programs. VERSION 2.2n: CineSat files are now output in big-endian format and the data is scaled correctly to 10-bits. It is no longer possible to run more than one copy of GVAR Ingester simultaneously. --- NO HISTORY AVAILABLE FOR VERSIONS BEFORE 2.2n ---
